Trademark REgistration

We follow a simple process to trademark registration. We like to keep the process as simplified as possible for our clients so we take the reigns and follow a five-step approach to obtaining registrations for our clients.

Step 2: Make Sure The Name Is Available We conduct what's a called a "knockout search" which is legal speak for we search to make sure your name is truly "available". During this process we are ensuring that your name is truly unique and is not already being used by another person here in the United States.

Step 3: Draft & Submit The Application 

After we've determined that your mark is available for use, we will draft and submit the trademark application the United States Patent & Trademark Office on your behalf. Prior to the submission of the application we will review the application with you to make sure you understand the selections we've made on your application, and to make sure that our description of your goods and/or services accurately reflects the goods and/or services your brand provides.

 

Step 4: Monitor The Application

We monitor your application through all 3 phases of the trademark application process. We will also respond to any non-substantive office actions that are issued by the trademark examiner assigned to review your application and minor inquiries made by the trademark examiner at no added cost to you.

Step 5: Registration

Once your application becomes registered we will send you your trademark registration certificate along with a series of next step instructions clearly defining your maintenance responsibilities as well as your schedule of renewal filings due to the USPTO.
